Hallo aus Deutschland!

Hallo+aus+Deutschland%21

Recently, HH opened up a new Virtual Reality lab for classes to come to visit and explore. Fortunately, my German class was able to experience the lab firsthand and see just how impactful it is.

On Dec. 18, we were taken to the lab to explore Neuschwanstein Castle in Germany. When we went to the lab, we were met with a set of four VR stations. Each student was given a chance to put on the headset and try out the lab and later be able to explore more features.

Junior Kayla Hiller said, “We went in and were put into stations…When it was my turn, I had a lot of fun exploring the castle.” Hiller also expressed her excitement for the games she was able to play after everyone took their turns. “We also got to play games and that was really fun to do.”

Hiller was not the only one to enjoy the VR lab. Junior Gavin Morgan said, “It was very interesting to be able to look around somewhere I’ve never been.”

Senior Skye Keller explained that the lab is not just for fun, it also has educational purposes. Keller said, “It’s a great way to expand your learning and see things that are usually out of reach.”

All in all, each student seemed to enjoy their time at the lab and when asked if they would like to go again all responded with a yes. It’s safe to assume students will really enjoy the VR lab and benefit from its resources.
