Mr. Cummings is a new math teacher at our school teaching geometry and Algebra 1. He attended Father Judge High School and continued his education at Penn State where he majored in secondary education mathematics. He then went on to graduate school at Gwynedd Mercy University.

His prior job was teaching at Franklin Towne Charter High School. When Mr. Cummings isn’t teaching his students, you can probably find him on the track. Mr. Cummings said he loves to run. In high school, he ran and threw shot put. At his old school, he coached cross country and track for 6 years.

Outside of school Mr. Cummings and his wife of almost a year are expecting twins in March.

Mr. Cummings said his life motto is, “The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge but rather a lack of will.”  This is something that he tries to stress to his students. He believes anyone can succeed as long as they are willing to try.
