Valentine’s Day Rose Sale
Love is in the air. Beautiful, big roses are the best traditional gift for Valentine’s Day, especially when they are hand delivered to you during class.
The Future Business Leaders of America hosted their Valentine’s Day rose sale over the past two weeks.
FBLA set up a stand in the back of the cafeteria where they sold single roses for $3 each and a bouquet of three flowers for $5. Mr. Mulroy hosted the annual rose packing party on Tuesday where members prepared the roses for the distribution the next day. FBLA leaders and volunteers handed them out during 1st period on Wed, Feb 12.
FBLA took a chance this year as they bought 75 more roses than usual. Thankfully, many friends and couples bought flowers and the club was not put in debt.
FBLA vice president Julia Warden said, “The Valentine’s Day Rose Sale is a great way to give back to FBLA’s state project, while also spreading a little joy within our Hatboro-Horsham community. My favorite part of the process is seeing the excitement students have when they receive a rose.”
