Meet This Teacher: Ms. Quatraro
Meet Ms. Olivia Quatraro, a new 10th and 11th grade English Teacher!
Ms. Quatraro was a student teacher with Mrs. Pruess and a building sub before taking over for Mrs. Hersker while she is out on maternity leave. Ms. Quartraro attended North Penn High School and then went on to study secondary English Education at Temple University. Compared to North Penn she said she loves Hatboro Horsham so much better. She enjoys the block scheduling, longer periods and the smaller classes. Her favorite thing about our school is the students. Ms. Quatraro said she wanted to become a teacher because she has always been passionate about it and wanted to make an impact and shape young minds into mature adults.
Outside of school she loves to read, write and most of all game. Some of her favorite video games at the moment are Rainbow Six Siege and Monster Hunter World. At home she loves to spend time with her English bulldog, Joey. Her New Year’s resolutions are to lesson plan better for next semester, work on time management and eat healthier.
Ms. Quartraro lives by this quote from Rocky V: “Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. It’s a very mean and nasty place, and I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it.”
